Fall Missions Focus Week
14 October at 9:30 AM - 21 October at 1:00 PM
This year, our annual Fall Missions Focus Week will run from 14-21 October. The theme will be “Answering God’s Call”, and we have Crossroads members involved in full-time missions and ministry who will share their stories with us.
The programme for the week is included below:
Sunday, 14 October – 9:30 AM & 11:15 AM services
M.F. will share about his mission work with Wycliffe Germany and speak on the theme “Answering God’s Call”. He will be available to answer questions about Wycliffe’s vital Bible translation work at the information stand in the foyer after the service.
Thursday, 18 October – 7:00 PM in the sanctuary
Franklyn Spence will speak on “Hearing God’s Voice”: how can we answer God’s call if we don’t know how to hear His voice? Everyone is welcome, and we extend a special invitation to Home Groups to attend – either in addition to their usual weekly meeting or in place of it.

Saturday, 20 October – 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM
“Dining As One Nation” – the International Dinner will take place at Crossroads from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The cost is CHF 10 to cover drinks (children under 12: free). This is a potluck dinner, giving us the opportunity to bring a traditional dish from our home country to share. Sign-up sheets are available after Sunday services in the foyer. Child care will be provided from 8:30 PM.
After dinner, there will be a programme in the sanctuary from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM: Allison Régnier, Project Director of ReNAiSSArT, a Christian art ministry, will produce a painting based on the week’s theme, “Answering God’s Call”, and will talk about her ministry. Some of Allison’s art will be on display in the foyer during Missions Week.

Sunday, 21 October – 9:30 AM & 11:15 AM services
We end the week by focussing on a few of our missions partners: Iosif & Tanja Ilin will speak about their recent two-year missions experience, then there will be two short video presentations on Wakisa Ministries and Ethics International. The closing missions message will focus our hearts and minds on the importance of answering God’s call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
