There are no services on Sunday 28 April because Crossroads will be elsewhere enjoying the ‘Church Weekend Away.’ We look forward to welcoming you at the usual times of 9:30 & 11:15 the following weekend, Sunday 5 May.
We are a church of people from all around the world. Some of us have come here to work or study. Others of us have come because of family members. All of us are looking for God’s direction and guidance in life. As foreigners and expats living abroad, we believe God’s word offers us hope and strength for daily challenges and opportunities.
Settling into a new city is both exciting and daunting. Our church has discovered that we need help from each other, friends for the journey, people we can share this stage of our life with. We want to offer support, encouragement and help for you and your family whether you are new to Basel or have lived here for many years. Let us know how we can best be of service to you.

‘Direction for Life and Friends for the Journey’ holds so true at Crossroads. Settling into a new city is exciting, but made me nervous at the same time. Crossroads helped me make new friends for the journey, taught me God’s Word and also gave us as a family opportunities to serve in God’s kingdom. We are blessed beyond measure to be a part of the Crossroads family!
MohannaCrossroads was our first church home in Basel. In August of 2006, my 13-year old son and I arrived in Basel in advance of the rest of the family who were scheduled to join us in January. Finding a church was tops on our list of objectives and a recommendation from a work colleague soon brought us there. We immediately felt at ease and while we visited several other churches, the Crossroads community soon became the base of our lives here in Basel. Having that foundation facilitated the larger cultural transition enormously. All these years later, it’s still our ‘home’.

Crossroads, for me, has been a welcoming, encouraging place to grow. It’s somehow caring, without being nosy; challenging, but not negative. The people are the church, connected by the Faith, and the building is just the place where we meet.Review Text
