When Dreams Don’t Happen

One morning over breakfast, a wife said to her husband, “I had a dream last night that you gave me a pearl necklace. What do you suppose that means?” “Well,” he said, “you’ll have to wait until tonight to find out.” That evening, he came home with a gift for his wife.

No Looking Back

On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister became the first man in history to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. Shortly after, John Landy eclipsed the record by 1.4 seconds. In August of that year, the two men met together for a historic race.


I know I’ve said it before, but parenting is the toughest and most important job in the world. You will never have as much impact in any other area as you will in the life of your children. That’s a scary thought and a huge responsibility.
